HKH-11C Digital Respiration Sensor

HKH-11C Digital Respiration Sensor use piezoelectric principle to acquire the pressure signal produced by human breath, through the signal adjustment circuit, output respiratory waveform data. The sensor has the advantages of compact size and convenient use. The sensor is suitable for the development of computer-based human respiratory condition detecting or monitoring system.

How to use:

1.  Install device drivers;
2.  View the virtual port number of the device;
3.  Run the demo program, select the port and open it, prepare the test.
4.  Fixed the sensor in the inner side of the belt, adjust the belt, moderate tight, position sensor in the abdomen.
5.  Click the Start button to test;

Communication Protocol:

1.  Hardware interface: RS-232.
2.  Baud: 9600 bps.
3.  Data format: 1 bit start, 8 bit data, 1 bit stop, no verify.

Communication Commands:

a)  Read serial number

Master -> Sensor: 0x20(Start Byte) 0x31(Control Byte)
Sensor -> Master: 0x20(Start Byte) SN0 SN1 SN2 SN3

PS: SN0/SN1/SN2/SN3 is 4 bytes of sensor ID.

b)  Start measurement

Master -> Sensor: 0x20(Start Byte) 0x32(Control Byte)
Sensor -> Master: 0x20(Start Byte) 0x32

c)  Stop measurement

Master -> Sensor: 0x20(Start Byte) 0x33(Control Byte)
Sensor -> Master: 0x20(Start Byte) 0x33

d)  set the zoom level

Master -> Sensor: 0x20(Start Byte) 0x34(Control Byte) X (0-6)
Sensor -> Master: 0x20(Start Byte) 0x34

PS: SN0/SN1/SN2/SN3 is 4 bytes of sensor ID.

About USB interface:

The computer will tip the discovery of new hardware when this sensor is connected with a computer via the USB interface. Please install the driver, and then a virtual port will be generated on the computer. This port number will be used in programming. You can also use port scanning mode in the program to determine the port number.
