HKX-08C Digital Heart-Rate Sensor

HKX-08C is a based HKX-08A developed heart rate sensor, digital output. This sensor acquisition of human ECG, after calculated and processing, output heart rate data in real-time. It uses a digital tube to display, USB interface communication and power supply, easy to use. Applicable to all kinds of heart rate acquisition and analysis system based on PC.

Communication Protocol:
1.      Hardware interface: TTL232.
2.      Baud: 19200 bps.

5.  Communication Commands
a)   Start measurement, control word: 0xC0/0xC7.
Master -> Sensor: 0xF0 0xC0 CKSUM
Sensor -> Master: 0xF0 0xC0 XLH XLL CKSUM
PS: After the sensor receives this command, it sends a frame of data in each heartbeat cycle.
    XLH: High byte of heart rate data
    XLL: Low byte of heart rate data
Master -> Sensor: 0xF0 0xC7 CKSUM
Sensor -> Master: 0xF0 0xC7 ZQH ZQL CKSUM
PS: After the sensor receives this command, it sends a frame of data in each heartbeat cycle.
    ZQH: High byte of heart cycle data
    ZQL: Low byte of heart cycle data
b)   Stop measurement, control word: 0xC1.
Master -> Sensor: 0xF0 0xC1 CKSUM
Sensor -> Master: 0xF0 0xC1 CKSUM
c)   Read serial number, control word: 0xC2.
Master -> Sensor: 0xF0 0xC2 CKSUM
Sensor -> Master: 0xF0 0xC2 SN0 SN1 SN2 SN3 CKSUM
PS: SN0/SN1/SN2/SN3 is 4 bytes of equipment ID.
d)   Read production date, control word: 0xC3.
Master -> Sensor: 0xF0 0xC3 CKSUM
Sensor -> Master: 0xF0 0xC3 T0 T1 T2 T3 CKSUM
PS: T0-T3, respectively, high-byte, low byte years, months, days.
